Our Infinity Social and Activity Centre takes place at Rosemary House, Trinity Road in Sheerness We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10am – 3pm (excluding Bank Holidays).

We support all residents over the age of 50 across the Isle of Sheppey.

We offer a door-to-door transport service and have wheelchair accessible mini buses with tail lifts. We serve a freshly cooked two-course lunch daily, using locally sourced produce wherever possible and can cater for most special dietary requirements.

We have a varied activity programme to include whole day sessions, morning or afternoon sessions, drop in for lunch, or attend one of our planned events.

We offer a 1 hour slot priced at £22.50 and 1 and half hour slots priced at £30, you can also have a 2 hour slot for £36.00 thereafter £20 per extra hour.

Our Infinity At Home service can provide help with practical domestic tasks such as shopping, cleaning, laundry and more.

What help can we provide?

We can provide help with practical domestic tasks such:

• Shopping
• Cleaning

• Ironing
• Bed making
• Light meal preparation
• Escorted appointments
• Companionship.

We also now provide dedicated deep cleans and a laundry in their own home services prices on request.

We provide a bespoke package to encompass clients’ individual needs. Our local, friendly, fully trained team who are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service can help for a short period of time until you are back on your feet or we can provide a regular service.

Enjoy a two-course freshly cooked meal delivered to your door by our team at Infinity.

Our service provides

Infinity Fresh meals To Your Door provide a two-course freshly cooked meal, using local produce wherever possible and delivered direct to your door by one of our friendly team. Frozen meals and snack packs are also available and we can cater for most special dietary requirements. Each day we have a main option, an alternative and a vegetarian option available.

Meals are delivered hot in disposable containers and the delivery staff can help plate up the meal for you. Our delivery staff are friendly and helpful, have all been trained and have been checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service

When is the service available?

Our delivery service is available from Monday to Friday lunchtimes (excluding Bank Holidays). If you require meals at the weekends we can offer a frozen meal to be delivered on a Friday and we also have snack packs available to purchase with your main meal.

Snacks packs are freshly prepared each day, consisting of 4 items, and can be put into your fridge ready to enjoy a snack later in the evening. Items may include a sandwich or roll, fruit, yoghurt, crisps, cheese straws, sausage roll or cheese and onion pasty.

Fresh hot meal delivery costs £9.50 and frozen meal delivery is £6.50. Snack packs are £4.50

Our Commercial kitchen has been regularly inspected by the local Environmental Health department looking in detail at our Food Hygiene standards.

Our Fresh Meals kitchen has been awarded the highest Environmental Health standard of five stars as recently as December 2023

Over 850,000 people in the UK are living with Dementia – that’s one in six people over 80. At Age UK Sheppey we offer a range of Dementia Services and activities for people living with Dementia as well as their carers to improve their quality of life.

Memory Social and Activity Day

At our Infinity Dementia Friendly Day we offer a morning, afternoon or full day at our Social and Activity Centre on a Thursday.

We support any residents over the age of 50 across the Isle of Sheppey.

We apply a flexible approach to this service which is tailored to our individual client’s needs on that particular day. Mentally stimulating games and activities to keep the mind active as well as gentle exercise are encouraged for those that would like to join in.

The day starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm, morning sessions are 10am-1pm and afternoon sessions are 12pm-3pm.

We offer a transport service for those that need support getting to us.

The day consists of tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival followed by a morning of stimulating memory based activities. A two course freshly cooked meal is offered at 12pm followed by an afternoon of different activities to support memory retention.

The sessions are run by staff and volunteers who are fully trained and checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

We offer activities for the carer and cared for which include a monthly cinema experience and lunch club. Details on request.

Memory Snug

Living with dementia can be a stressful and challenging experience, especially when trying to find a peaceful, safe space. That’s where our snug comes in. A smaller, dementia friendly space, designed to provide a haven of calm. Our intimate and cozy room is designed for those who prefer smaller groups, with a quieter atmosphere. With comfortable high-backed seating and a relaxed setting we can provide a tranquil escape from the challenges of everyday life.

The day runs between 10am and 3pm and includes refreshments throughout the day and a two course freshly cooked meal.

The Snug is available on a Monday and Wednesday and will be run by fully trained, staff and volunteers who are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Prices are £45.00 for the day or £55.00 with transport

We offer appointments at our Infinity Centre or in your home if you are unable to leave the home. Appointments at the Centre are £25.00 appointments at home are £40.00

Try our chiropody service to help you to stay comfortable on your feet

What does the service offer?

Our service is run by a trained chiropodist who can look after the general health of your feet by checking for signs of infection, pain or swelling, blisters, ingrowing toenails, help with cutting nails, and remove dead or cracked skins. All appointments are currently available on a Thursday only.

Who is it for?

The service is for anyone aged 50 and over.

How much does it cost?

It costs £25.00 per session, which will usually lasts 15 minutes. Home visits will cost £40.00
All appointments include free fingernail cutting.
