If you have been diagnosed with dementia or you are supporting a friend or family member with dementia, we can help you. We empower people affected by dementia to carry on their chosen lifestyle. We equip people with knowledge and practical support to live well with dementia and we also understand the impact of dementia on family and friends.

We will work with you to discuss not only what your needs are but what you want out of life, make plans for the future and help you achieve this. We will help you create an individual support plan and work with you to achieve the results you want. We can meet with you at your home, or somewhere else where you feel comfortable, alternatively we can discuss the support you need over the phone or via email. We will help you understand your diagnosis of dementia and signpost you to the right support for you.

Support at home is designed to help older people remain independent in their own homes by assisting with day-to-day living tasks that might have become more difficult.

What we offer:

• Light Housework
• Laundry
• Ironing
• Changing bedding
• Shopping
• Dealing with correspondence
• Meal preparation

We tailor the service to your preferences and needs. We visit you at home in the first instance, to discuss your requirements and agree with you the tasks you would like carried out. Our Co-ordinator will then match you to a suitable Independent Living Assistant who will always carry identification, visit at pre-arranged times and carry out the tasks we have agreed with you.

*Please note that where possible we will always try and send the same person, however we may need, at times, to send someone else.

Services we do not cover:

We do not offer personal care services, prompting or taking of medication or working at heights. However, if your needs are beyond what we can provide, we will be able to assist you in finding the right support through our Information and Advice service or direct you to the most appropriate support.

Are your staff DBS checked?

All our staff are rigorously vetted including checks via the Disclosure and Barring Service and the Protection of Vulnerable Adults Register. They all receive comprehensive training and are regularly reviewed and monitored to ensure a consistently high quality of service.

How do I pay for my services?

You will be sent an invoice at the beginning of the month for the service you were provided with in the previous month. You can either make payment by card by calling us on 01303 269602 or by paying on line via BACS. Please note, we no longer accept payment by cash or cheque.
